Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Dreamland ("we", "us", "our"), based in Cyprus, governing your use of the Dreamland mobile application and the website at visitdreamland.com (together, the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms.

Dreamland is intended for use by parents and caregivers on behalf of their children. Accounts must be created and managed by an adult aged 18 or over. Children do not create accounts or agree to these Terms themselves.

Use of the App

Dreamland lets you create personalised, AI-generated bedtime stories, illustrations, and narration for your child, and lets family members record their voice through the Family Narrator feature.

Your Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and child profile
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account
• You will only use the App for personal, non-commercial, family purposes
• You will not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share (for example, photos of other people's children)
• You will not attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App or its underlying systems

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the App, or attempt to abuse the story or image generation features.

AI-Generated Content

Generated content is created based on the details you provide (such as your child's name, age range, and toy description) and is intended solely for entertainment and bedtime storytelling. It is not a substitute for parental guidance, professional advice, or educational material.

Please review stories, images, and narration before sharing them with your child if you have any concerns about their content. If you encounter generated content that seems inappropriate, contact us at hello@visitdreamland.com so we can investigate.

Subscriptions and Billing

Dreamland offers a free tier and a Premium subscription:

Premium subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store (or, where applicable, Google Play). We do not process or store your payment card details ourselves.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your payment method will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings
• Deleting your Dreamland account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription — please cancel it separately via the App Store or Google Play
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their own refund policies; we are unable to issue refunds directly

Intellectual Property

The Dreamland app, including its design, software, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App itself.

As between you and us, you retain the right to use the stories, illustrations, and narration generated for your child within the App for your own personal and family use, including saving, viewing, and sharing them with family members. We may use anonymised or aggregated information about App usage to improve our services, but we will not publish your child's personal stories without your consent.

You must not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit the App's software, design, or branding without our prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamland and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time via Settings in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the App, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. For material changes, we will notify you by email and via an in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. The effective date above always reflects the most current version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
